What are its requirements?
The Supreme Decree states that Chilean Government websites must comply with the following:
- They should use the domains .gob.cl and .gov.cl and the government logo.
- They should use descriptive headings that allow contents to be correctly indexed in the cataloguing and search systems.
- It is recommended that the language used in the creation of the website be HTML, XHTML or XML valid.
- It is recommended that the page templates used be validated with the tools provided by W3C.
- They must include an explicit privacy policy.
- The sites must use cascade-style pages for content presentation.
- The site must be navigable using at least one navigator or browser whose distribution and use is free and available for download from the website.
